New Commandant appointed to County

Col KJ Knutton from Tamworth has served with the Army Cadet Force for 37 years 5 of these as a cadet. In his long outstanding service Col Knutton has been a Detachment Commander of Rugeley, Abbots Beyne and Tamworth, before moving in to a Company position where he has held various appointments including DofE Officer, Training Officer, Adjutant, Company Commander and Deputy Commandant before taking his new appointment of Commandant on 06 January. cadet150 Lichfield Parade a big hit

Saturday 15 May saw the Cadet Forces of Staffordshire and West Midlands celebrating the cadet force movement with over 700 cadets parading through Lichfield following a short Cathedral Service. The parade involved elements of the Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force and the Air Training Corps. The parade included a march past at the Guildhall where Staffordshire Deputy Lieutenant (DL) - Major General Andrew Farquhar CBE took the salute. Read more »

CVQO New Website Launch

CVQO has now launched its new website. CVQO is a registered charity responsible for managing Vocational Qualifications for members of the Combined Cadet Force, Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force and Air Training Corps. Read more »
